Scala Engineer - Play Framework

Job Description : Mandatory skills : Backend Developer, Scala, JOOQ, AWS, Rest API, SQL, ORM We seek a highly skilled Scala Web Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Scala and expertise in developing web applications using the Play Framework and JOOQ. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Scala and the Play Framework. - Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services. - Utilize JOOQ for database interaction and ORM functionality. - Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Scala Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development. - Play Framework Experience in building web applications and APIs. - JOOQ Proficiency in working with SQL and database integration. - HTML/CSS/JS - Good knowledge of frontend. - AWS or Azure - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for deployment and scaling is a plus. - REST API Development - Strong understanding of REST principles and API design. - Good Communication Skills - Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate ideas clearly.
