Job Description
Primary Purpose of Job Family and Sub-family: The AI Hub Lead shapes the strategic direction of innovation / AI and analytics initiatives across the enterprise, leveraging emerging technologies to drive cutting-edge solutions. Through rapid prototyping and AI product development, the role leads experiments with new technologies and incubates innovative ideas. The role requires deep collaboration with business stakeholders to identify where AI tools can best fit business need. Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 8 years of work experience preferably in a leadership or management position, leading AI-driven projects from concept to production with a PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field Demonstrated experience in fostering cutting-edge AI research and innovation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala; experience with scripting and automation tools. In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning frameworks Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with stakeholders at all levels Charter: The AI Hub Lead drives innovation and excellence in artificial intelligence by leading the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role ensures strategic alignment with business objectives, fostering cutting-edge AI research and scalable production models to deliver high-impact results Primary Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Visioning: Define and lead the organizations AI strategy and position AI as a key differentiator for competitive advantage Enterprise AI Deployment: Drive the integration of AI into the core business functions, products, and service Research & Development: Spearhead Generative AI innovation initiatives, exploring new applications of GenAI technologies, from research to prototyping and scaling solutions that address business challenges and unlock new opportunities AI COE Champion: Lead the AI Center of Excellence (COE) for both business and technology, ensuring best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for AI adoption are standardized across the organization AI Continuous Improvement: Oversee the development and scalability of the AI platform, ensuring robust infrastructure, tools, and frameworks are in place for effective AI experimentation, deployment, and maintenance AI Partnership Management: Manage the AI innovation ecosystem, fostering relationships with academia, industry partners, and technology vendors Implement AI Governance: Implement strong AI governance frameworks to ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical standards, mitigate biases, and comply with data privacy and security regulations set by the Data & AI governance team Business and Technology Alignment: Work closely with business product owners, platform leads, and other stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with both business needs and technical requirements Learning and Development: Lead and mentor AI teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning AI Evangelist: Act as the organization's AI evangelist, promoting AI initiatives internally and externally Impact: Corporate Impact: Corporate Impact - Plays a key role in setting the functional strategy of a corporate function and executes that strategy to drive the operational direction of a sub-function Communication: Level of Skill: Negotiate agreement and acceptance through discussions & compromise Primary Audience: Internal Nature of Interaction: Engages in communication with individuals who may hold differing perspectives but share a common interest, primarily motivated by a shared goal of finding a resolution Innovation: Level of Skill: Change significantly by enhancing entire existing processes, systems and / or products Complexity: Innovation is multi-dimensional; solutions to problems and issues have a direct impact on all dimensions (operational, financial, human capital) Knowledge: Knowledge: Requires broad and substantive management experiences across several business areas Teams: Directs more than one team, determines team structure and roles of members Geographic Breadth: All regions
