Machinist

To execute all machining tasks Programming and machining of tooling breakdowns, tooling spares, tooling ECNs, Jigs and Fixtures and general machining and accordance with product specifications and quality standards Work experience and Qualifications: Background of plastic injection moulding and basic knowledge of the function of toolroom. To assist toolmakers with day-to-day running of the tools and assist in maintaining and repairing tools and tools under breakdown 1 2 years of experience in a Tooling environment Qualified Toolmaker Key Responsibilities Prepare the machine to produce the precision parts Select appropriate cutting tools, attachments and accessories, fixtures/vice, materials to be used in preparation for machinery work Execute CNC programmers to produce finished parts/products from machining process Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining operations to be performed Inspect dimensional and geomaterial tolerances as per drawing Design basic and high-end CAM tool path generation using PowerMill Calculate cutting parameters in accordance with material characteristics and combination of cutting tools, geometry accuracy and surface finish Operate, set up and programming electric discharge machine Operate and produce components on manual Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinder and Radial Drill Operate Crane for loading and off- loading tools on CNC machine/EDM Machine
