We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Western Cape . Role: Project Acquisition and Development Manager Industry: Renewable Energy Level: Mid to Senior (3-8 years experience) Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Environmental, Legal, Commercial, or Technical disciplines. 3-8 years of professional experience in Environmental, Project Development, Engineering companies, or consulting firms, preferably within Renewable Energy. Strong experience in permitting of projects. Solid understanding of power markets, particularly renewable energy. Working knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements, interconnection agreements, and EPC contracts is a plus. Basic knowledge of business fundamentals and financial analysis. Knowledge of Renewable Energy Development Regulatory Framework in South Africa. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and presentation software. Skills in Project Acquisition, Project Structuring, Project Finance, Tender Management, and Legal Competency. Personal Attributes: Predictable : Strong communication and listening skills, open and honest in sharing information. Driving Results : Proactive, determined, able to prioritize and work independently. Changemaker : Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable, fast learner, and takes initiative. Working Together : Team player, shares responsibilities, can compromise, and has a can-do attitude.
