Resident Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Engineer to join our clients team for a project located in the North and Western Cape. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of civil and structural works on a significant renewable energy project. Role Overview: As the Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for the organization, coordination, and on-site supervision of civil and structural works. You will act as the representative of the design team, ensuring compliance with approved designs and specifications. You will also serve as a liaison between the EPC team and the Owners Engineer. Areas of Responsibility: · Contract Administration: · Quality/Safety Management: · Relationship Management: · Training and Mentoring: Requirements: · Education: B.Eng or B.Tech degree. · Professional Registration: Required. · Minimum 8 years of Provincial Roads experience, including structures (stormwater, retaining walls, bridges, etc.). · Project management skills. · Strong knowledge of civil roads and earthworks, and basic understanding of other disciplines. · Knowledge of local and international standards and regulations. · Wind Tower Foundations experience.
