Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Solar PV projects. Then you do not want to miss out on this Responsibilities: · Lead the electrical design, engineering, and implementation of Solar PV projects, from initial concept through to commissioning. · Perform detailed electrical calculations, including load flow, short circuit, and protection studies. · Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation. · Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including SANS and NRS. · Conduct site visits and inspections as required. Qualifications and Experience: · BEng/ BSc in Electrical Engineering. · Professional Registration (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is mandatory. · 6-8 years of experience within the Solar PV industry. · Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards related to renewable energy. · Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PVsyst).
