Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) Miejsce pracy: Kraków Technologies we use Expected Golang SQL Docker Kubernetes Optional Java Python Google Cloud Platform AWS Terraform NewRelic DataDog Kafka Operating system Windows macOS Linux Your responsibilities Develop and maintain features for the Order Management System using Golang and Postgres, ensuring data integrity. Optimize database structures and queries for better system performance and reliability. Implement solutions for tracking system health, service metrics, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and design specifications. Work with DevOps to automate deployments and manage infrastructure as code. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, especially in microservices and cloud-native development. Provide technical leadership in system design, development, and troubleshooting production issues. Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and processes. Participate in a scrum team to meet product goals as defined by the product owner. Our requirements 5 years as a Backend Developer, including 2 years with Golang. Proficient in SQL and database optimization. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of software best practices, security, and performance. Experience with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and caching mechanisms. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Optional Experience with Java or Python. Familiar with Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Experience with API monitoring tools (e.g., NewRelic, DataDog). Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka).
