DevOps Engineer - AWS

Role : DevOps Engineer Experience : 3-4Years Location : Thaltej, Ahmedabad. Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days. Job Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Thaltej, Ahmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client's production environment, which spans both cloud (primarily AWS, with Azure and GCP as an advantage) and on-premises infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in automation, scripting, and cloud technologies to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our : - Production Environment Management : Manage and maintain the client's production environment, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Cloud Infrastructure (AWS Focus) : Design, implement, and manage infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with an emphasis on automation and scalability. Experience with Azure and GCP is a significant advantage. - On-Premises Infrastructure : Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with cloud environments. - Host and manage Microsoft IIS web servers, including troubleshooting errors, managing source control, and monitoring server performance. - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployments. - Utilize configuration management tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. - Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Batch, Groovy, and C# to automate tasks and improve efficiency. - Implement and manage system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, PerfMon, Stackify) to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Administer and manage version control systems, primarily Git. Requirements : Experience : - 3-4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer. - Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a 24x7 uptime environment. Experience with Azure and GCP is highly desirable. - Proven experience managing Microsoft IIS web servers. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins and build automation processes. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Batch scripting, Groovy scripting, and C#. - Experience with system monitoring tools such as Nagios, PerfMon, Stackify, etc. - Experience administering Git. - Good understanding of SQL databases. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues. - Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
