Beauty & Personal Care Regulatory Specialist Regulatory Specialist reporting to EMEA Commercial Regulatory Industry Team Leader supports the needs of the Beauty & Personal Care Business and the ability of Univar Solutions to grow and succeed by creating a competitive advantage through the Regulatory Affairs department. Role and Responsibilities Respond to customer issues relating to the Regulatory area. Respond accurately and on time to customer problems relating to the Regulatory area (Documents, raw material specifications, Quality questionnaires). Ensure EMEA regulatory processes are followed. Review department performance with local managers on a monthly basis. Ensure that regulatory documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Responsible for the annual review of supplier documentation requirements. Train Supplier & Product Management with respect to requests for regulatory documentation. Stay updated with respect to regulatory information using inputs from the Quality / EHS teams and share them with the relevant resources of the company. Analyze and evaluate the impact of new regulations and legislative changes on Univar's commercial regulatory activity. Provide Regulatory Support to Supplier & Product Management to create the best interface team with Univar suppliers. Actively support Supplier & Product Management in regulatory aspects. Provide inputs related to supplier commercial regulatory performance to Supplier & Product Management teams and Quality / EHS teams. Form Supplier & Product Management with respect to Regulatory Affairs requirements. Ensure that the process of updating and archiving product documents for key suppliers and products is managed and applied clearly. Ensure that all regulatory information is acquired and used effectively within Univar. Exhibit behaviors that allow one to be seen as an integral part of the business with shared responsibility for performance. Ensure the highest EHS standards for staff, equipment, and the environment. Share best practices and encourage formal and informal communication. Working Method : Demonstrate a deep understanding of Univar's business actions and organizational levers that drive profitable growth. Use appropriate interpersonal style and communication methods to gain influence and build relationships. Ensure that the customer and supplier perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities. Effectively anticipate and satisfy the needs of customers and suppliers, assuming responsibility for their satisfaction and loyalty. Consistently present oneself as a transversal partner across various lines of the organization and work collaboratively within and outside the team to better serve the needs of customers/suppliers and exceed the expectations of end customers. Actively support key decisions and promote a teamwork spirit to demonstrate commitment to 'One Univar'. Requirements and Experience : Degree in CTF, Pharmacy or in the Chemical field. Preferably experience in the Cosmetic or Beauty & Personal Care business area. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain in technical terms at an adequate level. Strong goal-oriented orientation. Strong motivation, desire to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and the ability to work in a local and international context. Fluency in English.
