About the Job : Are you passionate about Customer Communication Management (CCM) and eager to contribute to cutting-edge solutions for the insurance industry? ValueMomentum is looking for a skilled SmartComm Senior Engineer to design, develop, and implement SmartComm-based CCM applications. You will play a crucial role in helping our insurance clients streamline their communication processes and enhance customer experience. Location : Hyderabad / Pune / Coimbatore Employment Type : Full-Time Experience : 3-8 years Key Responsibilities : - End-to-End Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy SmartComm CCM applications, including template creation, configuration, and integration with other systems. - Requirements Gathering & Analysis : Collaborate with business analysts and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Solution Implementation : Implement SmartComm solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and adherence to best practices. - Technical Design : Create technical design documents outlining the architecture, components, and implementation details of SmartComm solutions. - Coding & Scripting : Develop and maintain code using relevant scripting languages such as Java, shell scripting, COBOL, and .NET, as needed for SmartComm integration and customization. - Template Development : Design and develop complex SmartComm templates, utilizing features like Template Selector and ensuring proper formatting for various output formats (AFP, PS, PDF, HTML5). - Testing & Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and performance testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards. - Deployment & Support : Support the deployment and maintenance of SmartComm applications, troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance. - Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. - Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest SmartComm features, best practices, and industry trends. Required Skills and Experience : - SmartComm Expertise : Strong understanding of SmartComm architecture, functionality, and best practices. - Proficiency in template design, configuration, and integration. - Experience with Template Selector and various output formats (AFP, PS, PDF, HTML5). - Scripting Languages : Proficiency in at least one of the following scripting languages: Java, shell scripting, COBOL, or .NET. - Technical Skills : Familiarity with related technologies such as XML, XSLT, and web services is a plus. - Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues. - Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaboration Skills : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills and Experience : - Insurance Domain Experience : Direct experience working in the insurance industry, particularly with policy administration or claims processing systems, is highly desirable. - Agile Methodology : Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Version Control : Experience with version control systems like Git (ref:hirist.tech)
