JBOSS Administrator - Application Server

Location : India. Role Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain JBoss application servers. - Monitor server health and performance metrics. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in the JBoss environment. - Implement and manage application deployment processes. - Coordinate with development teams for application integration. - Ensure optimal performance through regular tuning and upgrade. - Manage security configurations, ensuring compliance with standards. - Perform regular backups of servers and critical data. - Implement load balancing and clustering strategies. - Document system configurations and changes for compliance. - Provide technical support for application users and stakeholders. - Develop scripts for automation of maintenance tasks. - Conduct system updates and apply necessary patches. - Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution. - Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience as a JBoss Administrator. - Proficiency in JBoss EAP or WildFly server. - Strong understanding of Java EE technologies. - Experience with server monitoring tools. - Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems. - Experience with database management (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance. - Knowledge of networking protocols and firewall configurations. - Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist) are a plus.
