Follow industry best practices in software development to deliver high-quality, dependable, and intuitive solutions. Work closely with subject matter experts to incorporate data-driven insights into software for early fault detection and optimizing the performance of motors, drives, and rotating equipment. Suggest innovative methods and contribute to the advancement of analytics-driven services for rotating machinery. Collaborate within a global, cross-functional team, promoting knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices. Establish and enforce secure software development processes to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards for industrial systems. Our requirements A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on data-driven industrial applications. In-depth understanding of rotating machinery, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and predictive maintenance methods is highly beneficial. Proven expertise in software architecture, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and the development of scalable systems. Hands-on experience with data engineering and deployment tools such as Git, CI/CD, and Docker. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure software development techniques. Strong proficiency in Python is essential; experience with web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, basic front-end) is a plus. Experience with Azure cloud platforms is an added advantage. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to guide and mentor junior developers.
