Accountant

Our Client is URGENTLY looking for an additonal Incumbent to join there dynamic team to start preferably by May2025 . Minimum Requirements : A Diploma or Degree in Accounting (essential). Experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx or Caseware. Strong E-filing experience in submitting tax returns for VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, and other tax types. Proficiency in using Xero, Pastel, or Sage Online accounting software. Solid bookkeeping experience , including managing day-to-day financial transactions. Attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to): Drafting Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (compilations and reviews only)`. Filing various tax returns including VAT201, IT14, and IRP6 returns, where necessary . Navigating and using the South African Revenue Service (SARS) E-filing system for submission of tax returns. Liaising with SARS regarding clients profile or tax queries, where necessary. Utilising accounting software such as Xero for financial management and reporting.
