Compliance Officer

Requirements: BCom Business Administration or equivalent Certification in Compliance advantageous 5 years of previous experience in a Compliance role Proficient in the standards of Corporate Governance used in South Africa Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications Ability to interpret legal documents and regulations Ability to anticipate future circumstances, conditions and requests and to use these scenarios to plan for the future Ability to comprehend and develop and communicate Compliance concepts Ability to apply business acumen, logic and sound judgement in making decisions Ability to effectively communicate detailed information and instructions to others Operates comfortably in an environment where strategic thought and long-term planning are required Ability to recognise data security concerns Takes accountability for the performance of the compliance functions of the company Ability to solve problems with flexibility and innovation Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills Excellent analytical skills
