Job Description
Senior Account Manager Location: Stellenbosch A highly reputable international trust administration firm is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join their growing operations and compliance team in Stellenbosch. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with high-net-worth clients and global institutions, managing offshore structures and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee trust administration, including drafting of resolutions, trust deeds, and legal documents. Support the opening of global bank and investment accounts, handling KYC and due diligence processes. Collaborate with financial institutions, trustees, and clients to ensure seamless transactions and recordkeeping. Participate in audits (AML and LBA) and assist with the preparation of supporting documentation. Maintain strong client relationships and provide operational input on offshore structuring. Assist in the implementation and use of trust administration software (training provided). Lead and mentor a team of three, delegating effectively and providing regular feedback. Engage in investment-related discussions, staying informed about global markets and currency movements. Requirements: BCom degree with completed articles; LLB advantageous. 3–5 years’ post-article experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of trust law, compliance, and financial services. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage at executive level. Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with various financial systems. A keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work under pressure.
