Skills Required- • Detailed knowledge of Civil & structure Engineering for Telecom Network Infrastructure • Detailed knowledge and experience with the following technologies and tools: o AutoCAD, Mapinfo o MS Visio. o Civil drafting tools o Project Management Tools o Local Municipality Portal and reports • Civil Design and construction drawing (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in Civil and Implementation design including the ability to design scalable and reliable civil network infrastructure according to industry standards. • Data Analysis (Mandatory skill): Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed network planning decisions. • Civil Knowledge (Mandatory skill): Extensive understanding of civil systems, technologies, and protocols to efficiently manage and resolve civil and structural issues. • Civil Capacity Planning: Ability to forecast and manage Civil capacity to ensure continuous and reliable service performance. • Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and integration of network components. • Project Management: Proficiency in project management techniques to oversee network planning and implementation projects from start to finish. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address network issues promptly and efficiently. Roles AND Responsibilities: • Manage all civil project related deliverables to meet Project and Business objectives as well as In-Service Targets. • Prepare and update civil project schedules, implementation plans / roadmaps, Build status reports. • Review and validate Legal Survey documents • Validate Civil Preliminary drawing, site layout drawings (initial Civil Drawings) • Support in processing Public Consultation/ Municipal Approval/ NAV Canada Approval, Transport Canada Approval for Site acquisition process • Manage Civil Site Work Order (CWO) for main site and tie site (if MW transmission is used). • Complete foundation design based on tower design • Request a Structural Tower Assessment from Engineer of Record (EOR) for Tower and Rooftop sites (if required) to understand the load capacity of supporting structure • Able to prepare & review construction Drawing (towers and rooftops) which includes all structural, electrical, elevation drawing as required. • Civil reinforcement Drawings awareness • Prepare Civil Material BOM loaded into ADM • Manage As-build Construction Drawings - ADM (FieldVizion) Checklist • Post Construction Inspection report (PCI) - ADM (FieldVizion) Checklist • Provide concise and timely reporting on Vendor deliverables including equipment orders and delivery. • Establish and maintain communication channels with team members, senior management, equipment vendors, Telcos and third-party operators to ensure project success. • Review contractor’s construction reports and civil acceptance reports. • Able to review and prepare Electrical Plan including Infra related parameters • Responsible as Construction Specialist for special projects (but not limited to, In Building, • Complex reinforcement of tower foundation, Site to relocate, MW project) Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
