Hardware Test Engineer

Contract: 12 month contact _ extension or full time Company: Enterprise Space Technology Company Locations: hybrid - 3 days a week on site Montreal Rate: 55-65/hr benefits Note: MUST HAVE PR or CANADIAN CITIZEN SHIP & LIVING IN CANADA FOR MORE THAN 5 YEARS Required Skills & Experience • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent - PR or Canadian Citizen ship & living in Canada 5 years • 3- 5 years of experience in test station design and implementation for electronics in one of the following field: analog or low-speed electronics; previous experience telemetry and control measurements Previous experience in Robotics, automotive, drone or telecommunications industries Prior experience developing electronics on the job Prior experience as a system and AIT engineer, or system and test engineer Prior experience with Integrating hardware Nice to Have Skills & Experience Ability to communicate in French/English Prior experience in telecommunications Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Robotics or Assembly integrating test (AIT) Systems Engineer to join the Satellite Systems team at a major Canadian Robotics, Satellite Systems and Geointelligence company. The successful candidate will be responsible for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for advanced telecommunication satellites at both payload and spacecraft integration stages. Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
