Job Description
Quality Assurance Analyst We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to lead the validation, quality assurance (QA), and quality control (QC) of email and web campaigns developed using Salesforce Marketing Cloud . This role sits within the Digital & Direct Executions team in a broader Marketing organization , and is instrumental in leveraging customer data and insights to support impactful customer communications. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for executing QA/QC across multiple concurrent email and web campaigns, while providing guidance to developers and project managers. Success in this role requires a high attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of email and web accessibility standards . What You’ll Be Doing You will work across the end-to-end email and web development lifecycle , validating development deliverables and customer journeys. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Project Managers, Email Developers, and Campaign Developers—to ensure that emails and web pages meet established quality and accessibility standards. Your responsibilities will also include establishing validation processes, reviewing requirements, identifying and resolving issues, and driving improvements to streamline development quality and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Execute Tests Against Standards : Evaluate emails and web pages for quality compliance; raise and support the resolution of issues; provide sign-offs. Communicate Standards & Documentation : Share quality standards and maintain documentation such as checklists and reference materials. Defect Analysis : Identify and document inconsistencies, errors, and bugs in email and web content. Issue Resolution : Investigate recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions. Feedback Review : Analyze and incorporate client and end-user feedback into QA processes. Compliance : Ensure all outputs align with internal policies and regulatory standards. Test Strategy Development : Translate requirements and creative briefs into test strategies, plans, and cases. Collaboration : Work with Project Management and Development teams through all phases of the project lifecycle. Testing Coordination : Plan and coordinate QA activities, including task prioritization and time estimation. Regression Testing : Conduct thorough regression testing after issue resolution. Inventory Management : Maintain necessary devices, tools, and accounts required for testing. Who You Are Experience & Technical Skills Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a digital marketing or campaign environment. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in email/web development testing . Skilled in testing emails, websites, and mobile apps across different tools, browsers, emulators, and devices. Familiarity with QA methodologies across marketing campaign or software development lifecycles. Hands-on experience with: Defect tracking/workflow tools (e.g., JIRA , Bugzilla , Workfront ) Automated email testing tools (e.g., Litmus , Email on Acid , DiffChecker ) Web page testing tools (e.g., SauceLabs , BrowserStack ) Bonus: Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio and CloudPage Studio. Accessibility & Compliance Experience conducting accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.0 , AODA , and other best practices.
