Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Operation Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Operation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure across Azure Cloud environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of cloud operations tasks, including but not limited to: Roles and Responsibilities : Work with CloudOps team to ensure the technical issues are addressed on timely basis, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and mentorship as needed. Work with Microsoft & required vendors to address cloud platform issues. Perform a Daily health checks of Cloud platform to ensure the environment is healthy. Utilize Azure Cloud Shell, PowerShell, and Bash scripting to automate manual tasks, enhancing efficiency and reliability. Monitor and implement native snapshot and restore processes using Cloud Native Backup Solutions. Create and manage Recovery Vaults, defining backup policies, and scheduling snapshots to safeguard critical data. Work with Azure AD App registration and GCP APIs to integrate cloud resources and streamline operations. Create and manage storage accounts in Azure and storage buckets in GCP, including the implementation of storage lifecycle policies. Configure, Manage & troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to analyze and resolve integration-related problems. Manage and prioritize incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Perform system monitoring and proactively identify potential issues, implementing preventive measures and optimizations. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to address issues, escalating problems as necessary. Participate in the design and implementation of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including cloud specifications, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively participate in the implementation of enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions where applicable. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure) is a plus. Azure Cloud certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Proven experience working as a SME on Azure or in a similar technical support and leadership role. Ready to work on EST hours & provide On-Call support for any critical issues during off business hours. Experience working with Cloud environment and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders. Leadership abilities and experience leading a team, providing guidance, and monitoring performance. Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management processes is a plus. At least two years’ experience as a Cloud Ops SME.
