Machinist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Machinist to join a leading Aviation Manufacturing company as a full-time employee in Sidney, BC. The ideal candidate must be willing to work night shifts (Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM) or weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM). This Machinist will be responsible for manufacturing components for the company's products, focusing on transforming raw materials such as aluminum, brass, or steel into precise parts using CNC equipment. Must-Have Skills: 4 years of experience as a Machinist in the manufacturing industry Proficiency in CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning Working knowledge of CAD software tools (preferably SolidWorks, but also open to AutoCAD or CATIA) Working knowledge of Mastercam Possession of a degree and/or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Certificate in CNC Programming, Red Seal certificate, Millwright certificate, etc.) Ability to read and interpret manuals Strong critical thinking skills
