We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will help maintain and improve the reliability of our systems. Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer Position Type: Full-time/ Contract Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Experience: 7 years of experience with synthetic monitoring or performance testing. Experience with application development or infrastructure management. Responsibilities: Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our web applications and infrastructure. Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk. Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems. Analyze system performance data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues. Automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency using scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Go. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to network protocols and infrastructure. Technical Skills: Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP). Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, and Go. Experience with monitoring tools and platforms like Dynatrace and Splunk. Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns. Strong problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
