Role: Contracts Manager Salary: upto £85,000 Location: Lacock, Wiltshire Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours Stonegate Farmers is a leading supplier of high-quality eggs to major retailers, food service operators, and wholesale markets across the UK. As we expand our infrastructure to meet growing demand, we are looking for a skilled Construction Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage delivery of construction and development projects across a £30m portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of both Residential and Industrial buildings (new build, extensions, and fit-outs) and associated groundworks and civil infrastructure. Role & Responsibilities: Manage and administer construction contracts from pre-construction through to completion. Oversee appointed contractors to ensure projects are delivered in line with both programme and budget Produce and manage procurement schedules in line with project programme Management of sub-contract payments, including negotiation of subcontract variations Monitor construction progress through regular site visits and progress meetings. Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and contract records. Provide accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Identify and resolve any contractual or project-related disputes. Support sustainability and innovation initiatives across developments. Strong problem solving and resolution skills Meticulous attention to detail Qualifications / Experience: Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction or agri-industrial sector. Strong understanding of construction law, contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), and project lifecycle management. Familiarity with agricultural or manufacturing environments is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
