Working Hours 39 hours per week Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Salary From £38,500 per annum, depending on experience Yearly bonuses Paid weekly Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated mobile forklift service engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in plant, HGV, car, or heavy equipment maintenance. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel, LPG, and electric material handling equipment. This includes both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs. The ideal candidate will be reliable, capable of working independently, and committed to maintaining excellent customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment Perform planned maintenance and reactive repairs efficiently and effectively Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism Build strong relationships with customers, providing clear updates and recommendations Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Requirements Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic servicing (preferably in forklifts, plant, or HGVs) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently A customer-focused approach with good communication skills A full UK driving licence Job Benefits Company van Mobile phone & tablet Workwear & safety gear provided 30 days paid holiday Paid overtime
