Unity Developer

Role : Unity Developer Experience : 4-8 Years Location : Hybrid work model based out of Bangalore, India (flexibility for remote and in-office work) Who You Are : We are looking for a talented and experienced Unity Developer to join our innovative team focused on creating cutting-edge digital health products. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement high-quality game features and systems using Unity and C#. - Contribute to the full lifecycle of game development, from concept to deployment and post-launch support. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C# code. - Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to translate design specifications into functional and engaging experiences. - Implement and integrate assets (2D/3D models, animations, audio) into the Unity engine. - Optimize game performance for various target platforms. - Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring stability and quality of the applications. - Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs as needed. - Utilize and maintain version control systems, primarily Git, for collaborative development. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unity development, C#, and related technologies. - Proactively identify and solve technical challenges. Requirements : - A consistent track record of creating and successfully launching Unity-based games or interactive applications in a production environment (portfolio or links to released projects are highly desirable). - Strong overall programming background with deep proficiency in C#. - Superb interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Solid proficiency with source control systems, particularly Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. - Naturally curious and self-sufficient, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. - Great organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Bonus Points (Good-to-Have) : - Experience with mobile game development (iOS and Android). - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile platforms. - Experience with scripting languages other than C# (e.g., Python). - Familiarity with various Unity tools and plugins. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Unity projects. - Understanding of UI/UX principles and implementation in Unity. - Experience with game physics, animation systems, and particle systems in Unity. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies. - Passion for digital health and cognitive well-being.
