TPF Developer - C Programming

Job Description : TPF Developer We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced TPF Developer to join our dynamic team. As a TPF Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, maintenance, and support of critical applications running on the TPF platform. You will work on high-performance, real-time transaction processing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and optimal performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems and contribute to the evolution of our core technology Responsibilities : - Design, develop, code, test, and implement new applications and enhancements on the TPF platform. - Maintain and support existing TPF applications, ensuring their stability and reliability. - Participate in the analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for TPF development. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, program documentation, and operational procedures. - Develop and maintain applications that meet stringent high-availability and real-time transaction processing requirements. - Implement robust error handling and recovery mechanisms to ensure system resilience. - Collaborate with system architects and other teams to optimize TPF application performance and ensure scalability to handle increasing transaction volumes. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through code optimization and system tuning. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to TPF applications in a timely and efficient manner. - Adhere to best practices for software development on the TPF platform, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and security guidelines. - Contribute to discussions on system architecture improvements and the adoption of new technologies within the TPF Skills : - 5 years of proven experience in developing and maintaining applications on the TPF platform. - Extensive experience in low-level TPF programming. - Strong proficiency in C programming within the TPF environment. - Experience in developing applications using SabreTalk (if applicable to the specific TPF environment). - Experience with ALCS (if applicable to the specific TPF environment). - Solid knowledge of TPF database concepts and experience in working with TPF file systems. - Demonstrated ability in identifying and resolving performance issues and debugging complex TPF applications. - Familiarity with the airline, banking, or travel domain and their specific transaction processing requirements. - Knowledge of debugging tools, monitoring tools, and other utilities commonly used in the TPF environment. - Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks. - Understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and database systems relevant to the TPF environment.
