ServiceNow Architect - IT Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary ServiceNow Architect/Lead with deep expertise in either IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT Operations Management (ITOM) to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, driving efficiency and innovation for our clients. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust and scalable ServiceNow architectures, providing technical leadership, and mentoring a team of ServiceNow developers. This is a PAN India opportunity to make a significant impact on enterprise-level ServiceNow deployments. Key Responsibilities: ServiceNow Architecture and Design : - Lead the technical design and architecture for ServiceNow ITAM or ITOM modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices. - Develop comprehensive solution architectures, including data models, integrations, and customizations. - Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards and guidelines. - Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow features and technologies to enhance platform capabilities. - Design and implement scalable and high-performance ServiceNow solutions. ServiceNow Implementation and Customization : - Lead the development and customization of ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations. - Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including ITAM or ITOM, to meet specific business requirements. - Develop and maintain custom applications and scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, and other ServiceNow development tools. - Ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems. - Oversee the deployment and testing of ServiceNow solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and define solutions. - Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Conduct workshops and presentations to demonstrate ServiceNow capabilities and best practices. - Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams on ServiceNow solutions. Team Leadership and Mentorship : - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team. - Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members. - Manage project timelines and deliverables. ServiceNow Platform Management : - Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the ServiceNow platform. - Manage ServiceNow upgrades and patches. - Implement and maintain ServiceNow governance and compliance policies. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Skills & Qualifications : ServiceNow Expertise : - Extensive experience (7-9 years) in ServiceNow development and architecture. - Deep expertise in either ServiceNow ITAM or ITOM modules. - Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and other ServiceNow development tools. - Experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP, JDBC). - ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable. Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. - Experience with database design and SQL. - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Understanding of web technologies. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to lead and mentor a team. - Strong project management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent documentation skills. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
