Senior Quantitative Analytics Specialist - Data Engineering

About the Role Seeking a Senior Quantitative Analytics Specialist who is responsible for performing the below activities Duties - Understand the market data structure and processing in Vasara/MDSoR - Write python scripts to analyze/transform/plot market data - Create java scripts to access market data from vasara data fabric - Compose documentation on technical implementation and business 5 years of experience working with financial market data or time series data - 5 years of programming experience in python/ java to extract, manipulate and analyze large amount of data - Strong knowledge in python; working knowledge in Java - Working knowledge in data architecture, data models and ETL processes - Basic statistical and analytical skills to analyze and interpret market data - Excellent oral/written communication skills - Prior experience in financial industry preferred; advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred Essential qualifications - Bachelor/Master's degree or higher in computer science or finance/mathematics - Hands-on coding experience, Python/ Java is most relevant - Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively within a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment with multiple responsibilities but still following strict deadlines - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Must have : - Corporate and Investment Banking domain - Data Financial Modelling - Strong Python programming (ref:hirist.tech)
