DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Title : DevOps Engineer - Python Scripting & CI/CD (5 Years Experience) Location : Bangalore, India Job Type : Permanent Experience : 5 Years About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Python scripting and GitLab CI/CD to join our growing team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating our development and deployment processes, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions, building and optimizing pipelines, and proactively monitoring and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless software delivery. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline various DevOps processes. - Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. - Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. - Implement new features and enhancements to existing pipelines to meet evolving business requirements. - Ensure the stability, performance, and security of CI/CD pipelines. - Proactively monitor CI/CD pipeline performance and identify potential bottlenecks or issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues in a timely manner. - Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure pipeline health. - Perform regular maintenance and updates to CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Optimize pipelines for speed, efficiency, and resource utilization. - Analyze daily automation results and identify trends or anomalies. - Generate reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders. - Present progress reports in meetings. - Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found during automation and pipeline monitoring. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve issues. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline management, and automation. - Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and pipeline enhancements. - Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline development. - Proven experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. - Familiarity with observability tools for pipeline monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Experience with other CI/CD tools.
