Senior SAP S/4 ABAP Developer - Implementation & Support

Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP S/4 ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of robust SAP solutions within our S/4 HANA on RISE environment. You will leverage your deep expertise in ABAP, Fiori, and HANA to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions that meet our business needs. Principal & Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, ALV, BADIs, BAPIs, user exits, enhancements, and workflows, specifically within an S/4 HANA on RISE environment. - Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDP procedures for enhanced data access and performance. - Implement and manage ALE/IDocs and OData services for seamless data integration. - Develop ABAP CDS with annotations for Fiori applications, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient experience. - Work with the RESTful ABAP programming model and develop objects within the Eclipse environment. - Contribute to the development and customization of SAP Fiori applications. - Ensure seamless integration of ABAP backend logic with Fiori front-end interfaces. - Develop and manage ALE/EDI/IDoc interfaces for data exchange with external systems. - Utilize BDC programming, LSMW, and ABAP proxies for efficient data migration and integration. - Design and develop complex reports using ABAP and ALV. - Create and maintain Smart Forms and SAP Scripts for business document generation. - Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging of ABAP programs to optimize performance and ensure stability. - Conduct thorough testing and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants (especially in FICO) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Participate in functional specification reviews and provide technical expertise. Education and Experience Required : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - 7 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP projects, with a strong focus on S/4 HANA. - Strong experience with S/4 HANA on RISE implementations. - Proven experience with CDS views, AMDP, and OData services. - Deep knowledge of ABAP development tools and methodologies. - Experience with SAP FICO modules. - Experience with ALE/EDI/IDOCs, BDC, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, LSMW, and ABAP proxies. - SAP Certification in ABAP Development. - Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). - Knowledge of SAP UI5. - Experience with SAP security concepts (ref:hirist.tech)
