Technical Lead - Java Technologies

Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend services and APIs using Java 11, Spring Boot, and AWS serverless technologies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Architect and design scalable and reliable solutions that meet the business requirements of our healthcare products. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications. - - Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions. - Optimize serverless functions for performance and cost efficiency. - Design and implement robust and scalable serverless architectures. - Design and manage relational databases (RDS - MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB). - Optimize database queries and performance. - Ensure data integrity and security. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications. - Utilize DevOps practices to improve development efficiency and release frequency. - Manage and maintain infrastructure as code. - Lead and manage a team of 3 engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. - Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. - Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. - Help with hiring and onboarding new team members. - Gain a strong understanding of the healthcare domain and its specific requirements. - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize features. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend technologies. - Strong proficiency in Java 11 and Spring Boot. - Extensive experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions. - Solid understanding of relational databases (RDS - MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB). - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - 3 years of experience in people management, leading and mentoring a team of engineers. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills : - Experience in the healthcare domain. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with GraphQL. - AWS Certifications. (ref:hirist.tech)
