OCI Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OCI Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and maintenance of our OCI environment. You will ensure the performance, availability, and security of our cloud resources, implement robust governance policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our cloud infrastructure and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities : - Manage and maintain OCI users and resources, including compute, storage, and networking components. - Configure and manage OCI Compartments and provisioning services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DBaaS) across Availability and Fault Domains. - Monitor OCI performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. - View and monitor service details and notifications related to patching, critical updates, and downtime. - Implement and enforce governance policies and controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Configure and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control access and permissions. - Implement security best practices, including data encryption, network security, and regular security audits. - Integrate OCI with other systems and tools to streamline workflows and enhance system functionality. - Configure and manage OCI/OIC logging and auditing mechanisms for comprehensive system tracking. - Develop KPIs and Metrics Reports and Dashboards to provide insights into OCI performance and usage. - Work with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages. - Function as the primary point of contact and collaborate with Oracle support to address and resolve OCI/OIC-related technical issues. - Partner with Security, Network, Development, and Product Teams to identify issues and drive issue resolution. - Participate in the development and implementation of new OCI features and enhancements to improve system performance and functionality. - Design and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date OCI documentation and architecture diagrams. Qualifications : - 5 years of proven experience in managing and maintaining Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. - Strong understanding of OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and database services. - Experience with configuring and managing OCI Compartments and provisioning services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DBaaS). - Proficiency in configuring and managing OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM). - Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments, including data encryption and network security. - Experience with integrating OCI with other systems and tools. - Ability to develop KPIs, Metrics Reports, and Dashboards. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience with OIC is highly preferred. - Knowledge of logging and auditing within OCI. - Experience in designing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery processes. - Oracle Cloud certifications - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
