Node.js Developer - Microservices Architecture

About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer with hands-on experience in NestJS Framework and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend applications. If you are passionate about building robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and working with modern backend technologies, this role is for you Required Experience Level : 2-7 Years Job Location : Infopark, Cochin Technical Skills : - Strong proficiency in Node.js, with hands-on experience in NestJS Framework. - Experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning. - Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs. - Familiarity with TypeScript and best practices in a strongly typed environment. - Knowledge of authentication & authorization techniques such as JWT, OAuth, and session based authentication. - Experience working with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub). - Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. - Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL/SQL databases is a plus. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure backend applications using Node.js and NestJS Framework. - Design, implement, and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries for high-performance applications. - Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless communication between services. - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, and role based access control (RBAC). - Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security. - Work with microservices architecture and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. - Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to build seamless user experiences. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments using tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. - Monitor and debug application logs using logging tools like Winston, Morgan, or ELK Stack.
