Software Engineer - Node.js/React.js

Job Profile : We are hunting for a Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience and a well proven track record. You'll be enthusiastic with a positive attitude, dedication and willingness to work hard. The position will include a lot of interaction with foreign clients, exposure to new technologies and a lot of own responsibilities. What we are looking for in you ? Roles and Responsibilities : - Develop and Maintain Applications : Build, optimize, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js with Vue.js or React. - Design and Manage APIs : Create and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data handling and performance. - Frontend Development : Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces with Vue.js or React, following best UI/UX practices. - Database Management : Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, handling queries and optimizing performance. - Basic Server Management : Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on cloud or on-prem servers, ensuring uptime and security. - Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, clearly articulating ideas and technical concepts. - Code Quality & Best Practices : Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in security and performance. - Version Control with Git : Use Git for code versioning, branching strategies, and collaborating efficiently with team members. Required Skills : - Proven Experience : At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js and Vue.js/React for full-stack development. - Ownership Mindset : Takes responsibility for tasks, follows through, and ensures high-quality deliverables. - Basic DevOps & Server Knowledge : Familiar with deployment, cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean/Vercel), and basic server maintenance. - Agility & Adaptability : Comfortable learning new tools, handling changing requirements, and working in a fast-paced environment. - Understanding of Best Practices : Follows clean coding principles, security best practices, and modern software design patterns (ref:hirist.tech)
