C++ Developer - Blockchain Technologies

Job Description : We are looking for a C++ developer with proven experience and expertise in handling Projects, Clients and Team with the great level of ease and inspiring confidence. You'll be enthusiastic with a positive attitude, dedication and willingness to work hard. The position will include a lot of interaction with foreign clients and diverse cross functional teams. What we are looking for in you : Blockchain Development : - Design, implement, and maintain core blockchain components, including consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer networking, and cryptographic functions. - Contribute to the development of blockchain systems leveraging Monero (CryptoNote) or Oxen protocols. Software Engineering : - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ code for blockchain applications. - Debug, test, and optimize existing systems to improve performance and reliability. Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and system architects, to integrate blockchain solutions. - Collaborate with the open-source community to maintain and enhance existing blockchain ecosystems. Research & Innovation : - Stay updated on the latest advancements in blockchain technology and apply innovative solutions to improve products. - Explore and integrate privacy-enhancing technologies like Ring Signatures, Stealth Addresses, and Bulletproofs (used in Monero). Security : - Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities in blockchain systems. - Implement robust security practices, especially for privacy-preserving protocols. Roles and Responsibilities : - Forking the OXEN codebase : - Guiding their developer through forking and customizing the OXEN codebase to meet their specific requirements. Implementing a trustless coin swap : - Developing a secure, decentralized mechanism to facilitate the migration of assets from their existing blockchain to the new one without relying on intermediaries. - They have a fork that meets most of the requirements that development will use. Key Skills : - C++ - OXEN - Monero - Blockchain Notes : - Willing to work with 2-4 hours of overlap with US timings. - A very good understanding of forking the OXEN codebase and modifying coin swap code for the specific use case is mandatory, regardless of years of experience (ref:hirist.tech)
