Network Engineer - DNS/Active Directory

Role : Network Engineer We are seeking a skilled System and Network Engineer with 3 years of experience to manage, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for network administration, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and security to ensure seamless business operations. Key Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and workstations. - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. - Perform regular backup and disaster recovery planning. - Implement patch management and system updates. - Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and security threats. - Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize performance. - Implement and manage Wi-Fi and VLAN setups. - Manage and administration of mail services (ex: Zoho). - Perform vulnerability assessments and apply security patches. - Implement firewall policies, endpoint security, and access controls. - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, or other relevant IT security standards. - Provide L2/L3 support for system and network issues. - Respond to incidents, diagnose root causes, and apply fixes. - Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and troubleshooting steps. - Manage and optimize AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. - Work with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies. Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in system and network administration. - Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Cisco and Sophos. - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security best practices. - Experience with monitoring tools (e. , Nagios and Zabbix). - Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, RHCE, or equivalent are a plus. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
