Job Description
Job Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Java Application Support Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, resolving complex issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will leverage your Java expertise, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities to diagnose and resolve application-related problems. You will work across various communication channels, including web, chat, email, and phone, to deliver timely and effective support. Responsibilities : - Provide exceptional customer support, demonstrating empathy, building trust, and effectively communicating solutions. - Diagnose and resolve application issues through various support channels (web, chat, email, phone). - Analyze log files and utilize standard debugging concepts to isolate and resolve problems. - Manage and resolve challenging technical issues, coordinating with other teams for complex cases. - Develop a deep understanding of the platform and its core functionalities. - Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot application issues effectively. - Troubleshoot web application issues and JavaScript code. - Manage incidents, document solutions, and contribute to the knowledge base. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and escalate as needed. - Contribute to defect and escalation management processes. - Provide valuable input to business units regarding process and product improvements based on customer feedback and technical issue analysis. - Identify trends and patterns in customer issues to proactively address potential problems. - Familiarity with service/project management, SLA management, service catalogs, customer service management, workflows, and approvals. Skills and Qualifications : - Strong understanding of Java application support. - Proficiency in analyzing log files and using standard debugging concepts. - Experience troubleshooting web applications. - Experience troubleshooting JavaScript code. - Familiarity with incident management, knowledge bases, and defect/escalation management. - Commitment to providing exceptional customer support experiences. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build trust and show empathy. - Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. - Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach. - Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues. - Ability to think critically and identify root causes of problems. - Previous experience working with platform support (Service/Project Management, SLA Management, Service Catalog, Customer Service Management, Workflows & Approvals). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience with specific Java frameworks or technologies relevant to the platform. - ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes.
