Appian Developer - BPM/SQL Server

About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Appian Developer to join our team in Hyderabad or Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of BPM-based solutions using Appian, leveraging your extensive experience in Appian versions 19.x, 20.x, 21.x, and above. You will work on complex projects, designing and implementing robust and scalable Appian applications. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement BPM-based solutions using Appian 19.x, 20.x, 21.x, and above. - Develop and maintain Appian applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. - Create and manage Appian interfaces, process models, rules, and data models. - Utilize Appian features such as SAIL, process modeling, and integrations. - Develop and maintain Appian plug-ins and integrations with external systems. - Work with databases such as MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. - Design and implement database schemas and queries. - Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. - Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST). - Integrate Appian applications with external systems and APIs. - Implement data transformations and mappings. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design documents. - Participate in architectural discussions and design decisions. - Develop and execute unit and integration tests. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Support deployment and release processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve Appian application issues. - Perform system maintenance and upgrades. - Provide technical support to end-users. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Appian developers. - Contribute to the development of best practices and standards. Requirements : - 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Appian. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Appian application development of BPM-based solutions. - Proven skills in Appian 19.x, Appian 20.x, 21.x, and above. - Experience with databases such as MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. - Strong understanding of web services (SOAP/REST). - Proficiency in Appian SAIL, process modeling, and integrations. - Experience with Appian plug-in development. - Strong understanding of BPM concepts and methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Appian certifications (e.g., Appian Certified Developer, Appian Certified Senior Developer). - Experience with cloud-based Appian deployments. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with UI/UX design principles.
