Game Tester - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description : We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Game Tester with a strong focus on Rummy to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of game testing methodologies, manual testing practices, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of Rummy game mechanics. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our Rummy games through comprehensive testing, detailed reporting, and effective problem-solving. You will contribute to the development of robust test frameworks and participate in the entire QA process. Responsibilities : - Game Testing : Execute comprehensive test plans for Rummy games, identifying and documenting bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues. - Manual Testing : Perform thorough manual testing of game features, user interfaces, and functionalities across various platforms and devices. - Rummy Testing Expertise : Apply in-depth knowledge of Rummy rules, variations, and gameplay to ensure accurate and reliable testing. - Test Framework Development : Contribute to the development and maintenance of Data-driven and Page Object Model frameworks for automated testing. - Test Scripting, Execution, and Reporting : Create, execute, and maintain test scripts. Generate detailed test reports, including bug reports and test summaries. - Root Cause Analysis : Conduct thorough root cause analysis of identified defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively. - Database Testing : Verify data integrity and consistency by performing basic database queries and tests. - QA Process Adherence: Follow established QA processes and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality testing. - Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to provide clear and concise feedback. - Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices. - Database Knowledge : Basic knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries. - QA Process Knowledge : Good understanding of the software QA process and best practices. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). - Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in game testing or software Qualifications : - Experience with mobile game testing. - Experience with performance and load testing. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript. - Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
