Position Title : Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure & CI/CD. Location : India. Role Overview : As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a platform team (10-14 members) responsible for enhancing, testing, and supporting business applications. You will play a key role in migrating legacy systems to modern technology stacks while ensuring scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, and automation. Key Responsibilities : - Infrastructure Management : Provision and manage infrastructure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. - CI/CD Implementation : Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, and YAML to automate build, test, and deployment processes. - Deployment & Release Management : Oversee release processes, coordinate deployments, and ensure rollback strategies when required. - Monitoring & Performance : Set up monitoring systems for performance issues and proactive error detection. - Issue Resolution : Investigate and resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines. - Documentation & Compliance : Maintain infrastructure documentation and ensure compliance with security standards like GDPR. - Resource Optimization : Analyze and estimate resource requirements to maintain optimal performance and scalability. Mandatory Skill Sets : - Cloud Technologies : Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps on the Microsoft Azure platform. - CI/CD Expertise : Strong knowledge of Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, and YAML for build/test/deployment automation. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficiency in Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure automation. - Containerization : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Version Control Systems : Proficiency with Git or Azure Repos. - Scripting & Automation : Strong hands-on expertise in PowerShell. - Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, or similar tools. - Security & Compliance : Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). - Collaboration & Agile : Experience working in cross-functional teams with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. - Azure Services : Experience in Azure Functions, Function App development and deployment.
