Technical Presales Consultant - IT Infrastructure & Security

Locations : Chennai Job Type : Full-time Key Responsibilities : - Engage with clients to assess their technical needs and recommend comprehensive solutions. - Lead the design and presales efforts for IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices. - Provide technical consultation on enterprise infrastructure solutions covering data center, cloud, networking, compute, storage, and virtualization. - Develop end-to-end hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure architectures, including high availability, disaster recovery (DR), backup, and performance optimization. - Ensure that security best practices are embedded into infrastructure designs, including zero-trust principles, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements. - Work closely with sales teams to position infrastructure solutions effectively and align with business objectives. - Build and demonstrate proof-of-concept environments to showcase our capabilities to potential clients. - Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in technology services across multiple platforms. - Participates as a member of the sales engagement team in pursuit of new business opportunities. - Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions. - Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and strategic insights. - Lead the Pre-sales cycle and s well help with design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions and app development projects. - Create technical content, including whitepapers, blogs, and videos, to enhance our brand's thought leadership. - Lead webinars and training sessions to promote our solutions and services. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes. - Lead technical solutioning discussions and guide the customers for technology adoption and new technical initiatives. Technical Skills : - Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure : AWS, Azure, VMware Cloud, Hyper-V. - Compute & Virtualization : VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Kubernetes. - Storage & Backup Solutions : SAN, NAS, Object Storage, Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault. - Data Center Solutions : Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Dell VxRail, Nutanix, Cisco UCS. - Automation & Orchestration : Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell for infrastructure automation. - Monitoring & ITSM : SolarWinds, Nagios, ServiceNow. - Endpoint & Identity Security : MFA, IAM (Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk). - Cloud Security: Security hardening for AWS, Azure, GCP workloads. - SIEM & Security Monitoring : Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Rapid7.
