Quality Assurance Architect - Automation Testing

Role : QA Architect. Location : Gurgaon Job Type : Full-time Experience : 10 Years. Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on QA Architect to define and drive our quality assurance strategy, ensuring best-in-class software quality. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in test automation, performance testing, security testing, CI/CD integration, and modern testing frameworks. You will play a critical role in shaping the QA function, implementing best practices, and mentoring teams. Key Responsibilities : Quality Strategy & Leadership : - Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Establish best practices for test automation, performance testing, security testing, and CI/CD integration. - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to integrate QA into the SDLC from day one. - Continuously assess and enhance QA methodologies, frameworks, and tools. Automation & Hands-On Testing : - Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient test automation frameworks (UI, API, Performance, Security). - Be hands-on with automation and scripting using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JMeter, Postman, Gatling, Burp Suite, etc. - Write and maintain automated test scripts in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Implement Shift-Left Testing to detect defects early and accelerate release cycles. - Ensure robust test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and usability testing. Performance, Security & Scalability Testing : - Architect and execute load, stress, endurance, and spike testing to ensure system reliability. - Implement security testing best practices using tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube. - Collaborate with DevOps to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. CI/CD & DevOps Integration : - Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. - Optimize test execution with parallel execution and containerized testing using Docker & Kubernetes. - Ensure effective defect tracking, test case management, and reporting using JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr. Mentorship & Continuous Improvement : - Mentor QA engineers and developers on best practices in automation, security, and performance testing. - Conduct code reviews, testing workshops, and technical training sessions to upskill teams. - Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance QA practices. Key Skills & Technologies : - Test Automation : Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest. - Performance Testing : JMeter, Gatling, k6, Locust. - Security Testing : OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SonarQube. - API Testing : Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI. Preferred Qualifications : - 10 years of experience in Software Testing & Quality Assurance. - Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch. - Strong experience integrating QA automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Hands-on knowledge of performance and security testing. - Excellent problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
