Job Description : MuleSoft to Workato Migration Architect Location : Remote Experience : 7-10 Years (Architect-level) Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled MuleSoft to Workato Migration Architect to lead the seamless transition of our integration ecosystem. This role demands a deep understanding of both MuleSoft and Workato platforms, with a focus on designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful migration projects, strong API management skills, and a passion for cloud-based architectures. Technical Responsibilities : - Lead the end-to-end migration from MuleSoft to Workato, developing a comprehensive migration strategy and plan. - Conduct thorough assessments of existing MuleSoft integrations and identify migration dependencies and risks. - Define migration phases, timelines, and resource requirements. - Design and implement API-led connectivity and cloud-based integration patterns using Workato. - Develop and document integration architecture, including data flow, system interfaces, and security considerations. - Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the integration ecosystem post-migration. - Design and implement reusable integration components and patterns. - Develop, manage, and optimize Workato recipes, connectors, and workflows. - Implement complex data transformations, mappings, and routing logic within Workato. - Utilize Workato's features for automation, workflow optimization, and error handling. - Implement and manage API integrations using Workato's API platform. - Lead the hands-on migration of MuleSoft integrations to Workato. - Develop and execute migration scripts and automation tools. - Perform thorough testing and validation of migrated integrations. - Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues and performance bottlenecks. - Provide technical leadership in API development, middleware, and integration architecture. - Implement and manage API gateways and security policies. - Ensure proper API documentation and governance. - Design and implement integration solutions using RESTful and SOAP APIs. - Integrate Workato with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other enterprise systems. - Utilize cloud-native services and APIs for integration solutions. - Ensure secure and reliable integration with cloud-based applications and services. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the migration team. - Mentor and coach team members on Workato best practices and integration methodologies. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality. Required Technical Skills : - Proven experience in migrating integrations from MuleSoft to Workato. - Deep understanding of MuleSoft API management, flows, and connectors. - Hands-on experience with Workato integration, automation, and workflow optimization. - Strong expertise in API integration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs. - Experience with API gateways and security policies. - Proficiency in Java, Groovy, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with scripting languages for automation and data transformation. - Deep understanding of integration patterns, middleware solutions, and cloud-based architectures. - Excellent problem-solving and architectural design skills. - Experience with data modeling and data transformation. - Extensive experience with Workato recipes, connectors, and workflows. - Proficiency in Workato's API platform and automation features. - Experience with Workato's security and monitoring capabilities. Preferred Technical Skills : - Experience with other iPaaS platforms. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with database integration and data warehousing. - Certifications in MuleSoft and Workato. Qualifications : - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - 7-10 years of experience in integration architecture and development.
