SAP Tester - Functional Testing

Job Description : As an SAP Tester, you will play a critical role in our clients' SAP implementation and maintenance projects. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that SAP applications meet business requirements and quality standards. Your expertise in SAP FICO testing, combined with your understanding of finance and banking processes, will be essential to your success. Responsibilities : - Perform functional, system integration, regression, and re-testing of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA applications. - Test SAP FICO modules, including AP, AR, G/L, and Asset Management. - Test SAP MM modules, including Purchase Requisition, RFQ, PO, MIGO, MIRO, and Vendor Payments. - Perform Ariba and S/4HANA integration testing (nice to have). - Create test scenarios and test cases based on Functional Specification Documents (FSD). - Execute test cases and maintain test evidence. - Update test cases based on change requests. - Report and track defects in a timely manner. - Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution. - Apply knowledge of P2P, S2P, or R2R business processes. - Utilize finance and banking testing experience (preferable). - Provide extended support for post-production issues and retrofit in lower environments. - Utilize ADO and Confluence applications (nice to have). - Apply Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. - Perform automation testing (good to have). Required Skills : - Minimum 4 years of testing experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA. SAP Modules : - Good experience in SAP FICO and SAP MM modules. - Familiarity with AP, AR, G/L, Asset Management, Purchase Requisition, RFQ, PO, MIGO, MIRO, and Vendor Payments. Testing Skills : - Experience in creating test scenarios and test cases. - Strong experience in functional, SIT, re-testing, and regression testing. - Experience in defect reporting and tracking. Domain Knowledge : - Knowledge of P2P, S2P, or R2R business processes. - Finance and banking testing experience (preferable). (ref:hirist.tech)
