Guidewire Developer

Job Description : As a Guidewire Developer, you will play a critical role in our Guidewire implementation projects. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to design, develop, and deploy Guidewire applications. Your expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, and development will be essential to your success. Responsibilities : - Develop and configure Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Rating. - Customize Guidewire applications to meet specific business requirements. - Implement business rules and logic using Guidewire Gosu. - Develop and implement integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems. - Utilize Guidewire integration frameworks and tools. - Design and develop APIs for data exchange. - Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter for policy administration. - Implement policy workflows and business rules. - Develop and maintain PolicyCenter portals. - Develop and configure Guidewire BillingCenter for billing and invoicing. - Implement billing workflows and business rules. - Develop and configure Guidewire Rating for insurance product rating. - Implement rating algorithms and business rules. - Perform unit testing and integration testing of Guidewire applications. - Debug and troubleshoot issues in Guidewire applications. - Document technical specifications and design documents. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Required Skills : Guidewire Expertise : - Experience in Guidewire application development and configuration. - Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Rating, and Integration. - Strong understanding of Guidewire Gosu. Technical Skills : - Experience with Java programming. - Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP). - Experience with database querying and data manipulation. - Understanding of XML and JSON. Domain Knowledge : - Understanding of insurance industry concepts and processes. Experience : - 4 years of experience as a Guidewire Developer (ref:hirist.tech)
