SFCC Developer

Role Description : As an SFCC Developer, you will contribute to our e-commerce projects by developing and maintaining SFCC applications. Your expertise in SFRA/Site Genesis Controller Framework, along with your understanding of SCAPI and headless architecture, will be essential for delivering modern and efficient e-commerce experiences. Responsibilities : SFCC Development : - Develop and maintain e-commerce applications on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. - Utilize SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture) and Site Genesis Controller Framework for development. - Customize and extend SFCC functionalities to meet client requirements. Headless Architecture and SCAPI : - Implement and integrate with SCAPI (Salesforce Commerce API) for headless architecture. - Understand and apply conceptual knowledge of headless e-commerce principles. - Develop and maintain API integrations. Frontend Development (React/PWA Kit Preferred) : - Develop frontend components using React/PWA kit (if applicable). - Build responsive and performant user interfaces. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs. Code Quality and Best Practices : - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Adhere to SFCC development best practices and coding standards. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Testing and Debugging : - Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. - Debug and troubleshoot complex issues. - Ensure high code quality and and Communication : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Documentation : - Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and user guides. - Qualifications : Experience : - 2-5 years of experience in SFCC development. - Proven experience with SFRA and Site Genesis Controller Framework. Technical Skills : - Strong experience with SFRA and Site Genesis Controller Framework. - Conceptual knowledge of SCAPI and headless architecture. - React/PWA kit experience is preferred. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SFCC development languages (ISML, JavaScript controllers). - Understanding of e-commerce concepts and best practices.
