Business Analyst

Job Title : Senior Techno-functional Business Analyst (Motor Insurance) Location : Bengaluru Experience : 6-9 Years Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred Role Overview : As a Senior Techno-functional Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions within the motor insurance domain. You will work closely with various internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities : - Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Underwriting, Actuary, Operations, Claims, Finance) and external partners to ensure mutual understanding of processes and applications. - Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams. - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Design system solutions that meet business needs and align with technical capabilities. - Create detailed functional specifications and technical design documents. - Define and optimize customer journeys within the motor insurance domain. - Drive business process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Coordinate with development teams on project planning, sprints, and delivery. - Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Prioritize business needs and ensure development aligns with key business goals. - Manage and communicate changes to requirements and priorities. What We're Looking For : - Strong knowledge of motor insurance products and processes (quote, policy issuance, finance, claims). - Understanding of industry regulations and best practices. - Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and querying. - Experience with API integration. - Familiarity with Java, microservices, and web services is a plus. - Experience in solution design and database architecture is an added advantage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. - Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose effective solutions.
