Experience Level : 3-5 years. Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Manage and administer Oracle databases in a clustered environment (RAC). - Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products. - Monitor and optimize database performance and ensure high availability. - Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. - Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN. - Plan and execute Oracle database migrations and upgrades. - Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions for Oracle databases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues. - Document database architecture, procedures, and processes. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Lead database projects from planning through implementation and support phases. Primary Skills : - Oracle Database Administration with expertise in RAC environment. - Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c and/or 19c. - Proficiency in AWS RDS (Relational Database Service). - Strong understanding of Oracle pathing. - Expertise in Oracle Administration including configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN). - Knowledge of Oracle Exadata architecture and administration. - Proficient in Oracle Disaster Recovery strategies and implementations. - EXADATA knowledge will be add-on. Secondary Skills : - Familiarity with MySQL database administration. - Working knowledge of Linux operating system. - AWS RDS/EC2. Additional Requirements : - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
