Job Title: VMware Administrator. Location: Bangalore. Notice Period: 15 Days or Immediate. About the Role : We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced VMware Administrator to manage and maintain our VMware Horizon environment. Key Responsibilities : - Manage and support VMware Horizon environments, ensuring high availability and performance. - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to virtual desktops, applications, and infrastructure in virtualized environments. - Provide technical support for Windows client operating systems and resolve related issues. - Implement and manage automation tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and deliver solutions. - Ensure network and VDI-related components (VPN, firewalls, etc.) are integrated and functioning correctly. - Provide remote diagnosis and troubleshooting for software and VDI issues. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project goals. Key Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent field. - 5 years of overall work experience in IT, with at least 3 years in managing VMware Horizon environments. - Proven expertise in VMware Horizon and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). - Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in virtualized environments. - Experience with network concepts, including VPN, firewalls, and other VDI components. - Proficiency in Windows client OS support and troubleshooting. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell) and automation. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
