Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

Role : Salesforce QA Location : Remote Duration : 6 Months Experience : 5 Years Job Description : Responsibilities : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, particularly within the Financial Services Cloud. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Salesforce configurations and customizations. - Utilize Salesforce testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Provar, or similar. - Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps). - Perform data validation and ensure data integrity within Salesforce. - Develop and execute test cases specific to FSC functionalities, including client onboarding, wealth management, insurance, and lending processes. - Validate FSC configurations, customizations, and integrations with other systems. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to financial services. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications. - Implement and maintain test automation frameworks. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. - Analyze and report on test automation results. - Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability. - Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and identify potential issues. - Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions. - Set up and maintain test environments for Salesforce applications. - Ensure test data is accurate and up-to-date. - Coordinate with developers and system administrators to resolve test environment issues. - Collaborate with remote teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the EST time zone, ensuring overlap during working hours. - Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues. - Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Document testing procedures and best practices. - Maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides. Technical Skills & Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in Salesforce QA testing. - Strong experience in testing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). - Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Experience with Salesforce testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Provar). - Experience with defect tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps). - Understanding of Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations. - Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. - Ability to overlap some hours with EST.
