Software Engineer - AEM Functionalities

Job Overview : We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our growing team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable web applications using AEM, along with modern front-end technologies like Angular or React. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities : AEM Development : - Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows. - Implement and customize AEM functionalities to meet business requirements. - Work with AEM Sites and Assets modules. - Ensure adherence to AEM best practices and coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues. Front-End Development : - Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular or React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Integrate front-end components with AEM back-end. - Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability. Software Development : - Develop high-quality, scalable, and testable code. - Analyze and maintain existing software applications, identifying and resolving bugs. - Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality. - Design and implement efficient and reliable solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. Testing and Debugging : - Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. - Identify and fix programming bugs and performance bottlenecks. - Participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities. Documentation : - Create and maintain technical documentation. - Document code, architecture, and design specifications. Collaboration and Communication : - Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Participate in agile development processes. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4-8 years of experience in software development. - Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development. - Proficiency in front-end development using Angular or React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience with testing frameworks. Preferred Skills : - Experience with AEM Cloud Service. - Knowledge of Java and related technologies. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with other CMS systems.
